My Dearest pal, Sadie Jones, lost her dad a couple of weeks back. He was not young and had suffered from dementia or the last decade. It has been a long drawn out illness. Horrid. But his spirit was so strong. I doubt many of you would know him, but there was a terrific obituary last week in the Times, and here is the link to The Guardian.
