Hello everyone. What a strange world we all live in at the moment. First of all I would like to send my very best wishes to anyone and everyone who reads these posts. No point narrowing it down to "people who are affected by this", as we are ALL affected.
Please, please remain safe. Self isolate and WASH HANDS on a regular basis. Remember, anything brought into the house, from toilet roll, (Panic buying? Really?) tomato sauce, water bottles, need to be cleaned.
What are those idiots doing on Bondi or in Miami. If you see anyone ignoring self/social distancing just remind them of how Italy is being devastated. A whole sweep of loved ones will go and we must do everything we can to restrict those numbers. I don't want to lose any of my friends or relations.
My biggest worries are my friends in India who live in unspeakably close proximity in the slums or in the cities. The world will never be the same. In some ways we can really learn from this can't we? Look at the clarity in Venetian waters, or the skies above China. Very important for climate warriors not to harangue at this point, but take encouragement, and show in a way they never could have before, what just a little break in the industrialization of the planet can do. Also some great instagrams. Very funny. Wonderful community spirit around the globe, my favourite so far being the hour of clapping for the doctors. On Mother's Day, I can't help thinking how my darling mother would have rolled up her sleeves and got down to business. In fact....to all, ALL mothers. THANK YOU.
So, pat yourselves on your backs for being disciplined and keeping yourselves to yourselves. And THANK YOU ALL NURSES & DOCTORS.
